MIX MONDAYS: After These Messages

Ok, so maybe it has nothing to do with presidents, but it’s Monday and here’s another dope mix. We’ve been posting a lot of ambient mixes lately, but it’s time to kick it up a notch and get back in the swing of things.

This week’s mix comes from early 2009. The wonky hip-hop sound had just hit the scene and Stones Throw and Flying Lotus were the sounds du jour at the Smash TV residence.

This is a fun one, schizophrenic in nature and dedicated to Saturday morning cartoons and the ADHD style which would later crop up again on Skinemax. Lots of great stuff here, don’t sleep on this one!
